Good Morning!

This morning I thought I would make a weekend breakfast on a weekday. The usual cereal or yogurt wasn't going to cut it today. So I whipped together some ham & cheese scrambled eggs and serve them up with a slice of the cinnamon bread my daughter baked. Yum!
What did YOU have for breakfast today?

  1. Hi Jeanne~
Interestingly enough, I too cooked a weekend breakfast this morning. I had some cinnimon bread I wanted to use up so I made my husband and I French toast and bacon. It was a hearty way to start the morning. I would like to purchase your Almost Homemade cookbook but could not use the buy it now. I can pay through Paypal if you will set it up that way. I just looked through this book at a gift shop and it looks like fun. Of course, anything from Gooseberry is fun, right? Thanks so much!

  2. What a yummy looking breakfast! Mine, alas, was not so pretty. Just a cup of tea, a wedge of apple, and a slice of Gouda cheese. But it was satisfying.

  4. Oh that looks so yummy! i'm afraid my breakfast was nothing exciting... just bran flakes cereal with skim milk and a nice juicy plum. But I liked it!

  5. Ok,
Get ready. Now remember. I am in Croatia at a hotel and they have a big (free) breakfast!

I had...scrambled eggs. A little bacon that actually tasted like bacon! A little cheese. Homemade croissant (just a tiny one with nutella, chocolate and hazelnut spread). A half slice of homemade whole wheat bread (healthy...haha!). Some fresh cantalope. Two cups of fantastic coffee with milk.

That's all! it was great. We will begin our South Beach Diet again when we come home on Monday!
