Prayers Needed!

Many of you will recognize these two fellas as my dear sweet grand-dogs, Shooter and Hank. Well, they need your prayers right now- BIG TIME! They are lost in Huntsville, Arkansas (near Fayetteville) - it's a long story which I won't go into now. They've been missing since Tuesday, Nov. 15th and my daughter and her DH have been searching frantically for them. There have been several sightings of them over the past few days, but they are shy around strangers, so no one has been able to get close enough to them. All of our hearts are breaking right now. Shooter and Hank and their happy dispositions and wet kisses have helped our family get through an extremely tough year. And the thought of them being out there alone is more than I can bear. Please say a prayer and bring them home to us so our family can have something to truly be thankful for this Thanksgiving.

Please leave any suggestions for finding lost dogs in the comment section of this post.
We've just about run dry on ideas!!!
Thank you so much for your help!

  6. My prayers are at every moment. The will still close to each other, watch things from afar, all the while travelling cautiously to find their family or home. If the are shy of people have the ones with siteings just that watch where the are and tell your kids. This worked for me with similar breed and characteristics.

Hello, I will pray for them to be found SAFE with no harm. God knows when a sparrow falls, he knows they are loved and wanted. I had a lost dog 7 years back and the local radio station announced it -- and had people call in when they saw her. We did find her!! I still have her and she is around 13-14 years old. I found her on the road to start with so I do not know an exact age. The call that helped me find her though-- was I called the Fire Dept and police station and one of the men told us they saw her out on a certain road and there she was. CALL EVERYWHERE!! Local vets sometimes get lost dogs too. I know you said they are shy--but just maybe. I hope this helps some. Will continue to pray until you post they are found!! Jodi

  12. Oh Jeanne, I am so sorry to hear this. They are so cute and I have enjoyed your posts about them. I know the feeling as we lost our dog many years ago up north at our cabin. She crossed the river and we searched all day for her. Finally just at night fall we were driving down a dirt road and I saw a black dog running towards our car, it was her Callie, covered in burs and mud. It was such a miracle, she about about 4 miles away. I will pray for you and your family. Beagles love to hunt, so I am sure they are busy. Take care and I hope they return soon. Hugs, Terri
