And They're Off. . .

{Photo by Yvonne Palm}
All the Silver Bella folks are packed up and on their way to the super sparkley event leaving all of us non-bellas back at home feeling blue and crying on each other's shoulders. . .ok, well maybe that's being a bit over dramatic. It would have been fun to go, but it just didn't work out for me this year. I've never been to Silver Bella so I really don't know for sure what I am missing....probably better that way. But from everyone's blog photos it looks like it is the place to be this weekend!

But for those of us who unable to make it to Silver Bella, we have reason to celebrate as well! Thanks to Cerri and Heather (another pair of non-bellas) who dreamed and schemed and came up with an event for all of us who are left behind. It's called Joli Paquet and it starts tomorrow (11/9) right here. Those clever gals have rounded up some friends to create some pretty kits for us all to enjoy and from what I have seen so far they look amazing!
On another note in keeping with the Grateful Days Challenge, today I am grateful for the internet. I have met such wonderful friends from all over the world just by sitting here at my computer. That's pretty much mind-boggling when you think about it. I am constantly amazed at all the talented artists who I have met since I started my blog. I have learned so much everyone, laughed and cried with others, been a part of treasured moments that people have shared, etc. I never would have "met" any of them if it weren't for the information super-highway.
