On The Eighth Day Of Christmas

We are already on Day 8 and I am starting to get a little sad that this fun swap will soon be over. But when I think of all the wonderful gifts I have received from all these talented ladies, it is hard to stay sad for very long. Today's gift is from our swap organizer Heather of Bluhm Studios.
Look what Heather made each of us. . .A fabulous collaged apron! What a fun idea this is! I'm loving the colors and the workmanship. What a labor of love. I was going to model myself wearing it in the kitchen, but no one was up yet to take my picture when I opened it.
Here's a close up of the detail. I told Heather I think I want to try making some of these for gifts for friends and family next year. I'd better start on them right after the first of the year though if I want to finish by Christmas. Thank you Heather!

Well, I'm off to pick up a few last minute presents ~ there is always some thing that I forget to buy.

So many beautiful creations from your swap partners!! It's wonderful seeing how others create, what catches their imagination.

I'm with you on making gifts...I always have the best of intentions and get side-tracked!!

Happy last minute you there are always little things I forget!
