Spring Flowers Tag Swap

I always think of spring as a time of renewal and rebirth. So far this spring has not been working out quite that way around here. We have four family members who are currently in various hospitals. I thoroughly believe in the power of prayer, so if you can find it in your heart to say a prayer for them today I would be ever so grateful.

I've sent out my Spring Flower tags to Rachel who is hosting this fun tag book swap. I can't believe that I actually completed a swap ahead of time and didn't need to rush around at the last minute. I think this has to be a first for me!

39 Squares - Days 24 - 27

I've been stitching to help me to relax. I'm not sure it's working, but I'm enjoying the results. Here's my latest four squares.

Well here they are. . . .fresh new springtime kits have just been listed in my Etsy Shop. Pictured above is my Spring Collage Kit that is featured on the Joli Paquet blog. But I couldn't stop at just one. . . .I put together this Easter Basket Kit based on my tutorial which I posted on Joli Paquet last week. I switched it up a little and used different papers and colors.
Last, but certainly not least, is this adorable Purse Collage Kit which I put together just in time for Mother's Day. You'll have lots of fun putting this one together. All the kits are now available in my Etsy Shop right here.

39 Squares ~ Day 22 {& 23}

I was inspired by Amy's kite square (where she had the tail of the kite going through several squares) when I stitched this butterfly. We're more than halfway done with this project now. It seems to be going by so quickly. That's what is so nice about working on tiny projects like this -Instant Gratification!

Since yesterday was the first day of spring and Mother Nature decided to celebrate with a fresh snowfall here, I decided to stitch a little bit of spring into my 39 Squares sampler!

Are You Ready For Spring?

The snow has finally all melted here and hopefully no more will come. There are tiny tips of early perennials peeking their leaves out of the earth. I even heard some birdie tweets around the nest over the weekend. So I think Spring may actually be just around the corner. To celebrate the coming of Spring, we are starting up a new round of Joli Paquet. This week Brandy and I will be sharing tutorials and Kit Sales will begin next week.
