39 Squares Finale & a Sweet Tutorial

Some of you were wondering how I would finish off my 39 Squares sampler project. I decided that a shadowbox frame on my sewing shelf would be the best way to display it. If you want to see a close-up of each square just click here.

39 Squares - Days 28 - 39

Today is the 39th day of the 39 Squares Project. I've been away from my blog for a while so thought I would play catch up and show you the final squares in my project.

I haven't decided yet how I will finish the sampler off. Got any suggestions?

I've been stitching to help me to relax. I'm not sure it's working, but I'm enjoying the results. Here's my latest four squares.

39 Squares ~ Day 22 {& 23}

I was inspired by Amy's kite square (where she had the tail of the kite going through several squares) when I stitched this butterfly. We're more than halfway done with this project now. It seems to be going by so quickly. That's what is so nice about working on tiny projects like this -Instant Gratification!

Since yesterday was the first day of spring and Mother Nature decided to celebrate with a fresh snowfall here, I decided to stitch a little bit of spring into my 39 Squares sampler!

I picked up this basket nest and aqua chick on a glittery base last weekend at one of my favorite shops. Don't you just love his ruffled ribbon collar?
