And The Search Continues....

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends. I had two get-togethers - one on Thursday and one on Friday. Although both were great celebrations of all things we are grateful for, neither day was as joyous as past Thanksgivings. Too many people (and puppies) were absent this year. My dear George, his loving mother, my daughter and son-in-law, who are searching for this little guy. . . . .
Hank, who is lost in Arkansas.
(We're still praying for you Hanky!)

But then there are other things that we are SO VERY GRATEFUL for this Thanksgiving. not the least of which is the safe return of our dear lovable Shooter.

Other than a few nicks around his nose, he looks good and was extremely happy to be reunited with his mama.

So there's good and bad in this world. Bitter and sweet. Some things are difficult to bear, but others are quite marvelous. And in life you can't have one without the other. The challenge is to learn to appreciate all experiences we are presented with.

Oh Jeanne, I was so hoping to come to your blog and see that he was found. I am still praying for his safe return. I must be so hard. I hope you had a good Thanksgiving, I know it must be hard to celebrate. Has there been an sightings of him? Take care and I will keep checking your blog. Hugs, Terri

Jeanne , how true -- life's ups and downs -- one passage from the Bibls says -- when we have trials --Not if we will ---he will be there for us -- This past year has been one of trials -- but also one of tremendous joy , blessings and growth .
I count it all joy -- Still praying for your sweet dog -- Kathy - ga ♥

I feel what you are talking about...as this thanksgiving felt that way indeed. So sad re Hank :( yes, my mom is not well though I cooked for my dad while he cared (after mom's short hospital stay) some things, realizations, future touch things...and me moving (alone once more) It's tough and though at the same time there ARE things to be thankful for.{hugs}

Hi Jeanne, I just can't get this little guy out of my mind. Have they tried to contact a radio station in the area and tell there story about them not living there and they have to find him. I think that would be a great idea and mention that they believe someone has found him and also a newspaper. I think everyone would want to help. Just a suggestion. I am still praying for his safe return. Hugs, Terri

Jeanne,
This is the place I had to "run" to today. I thought of your sweet George today but I didn't know about his dear mother. I am so sorry about Hank...I had hoped he would have been found by now. I continue my prayers for all of you!
Big hugs,
Suz

I'm forever reminding myself & those close to me that ..."within every negative there is a positive, we just need to search a little harder." Not to mention there's a reason and season to everything in life!

So thankful I didn't see this post until now... Truly hit a chord with me, Jeanne!

Hugs,
Anne
