39 Squares ~ Day 21

Since yesterday was the first day of spring and Mother Nature decided to celebrate with a fresh snowfall here, I decided to stitch a little bit of spring into my 39 Squares sampler!

Are You Ready For Spring?

The snow has finally all melted here and hopefully no more will come. There are tiny tips of early perennials peeking their leaves out of the earth. I even heard some birdie tweets around the nest over the weekend. So I think Spring may actually be just around the corner. To celebrate the coming of Spring, we are starting up a new round of Joli Paquet. This week Brandy and I will be sharing tutorials and Kit Sales will begin next week. I just listed this sweet little bunny in my Etsy Shop this morning, along with markdowns on Valentine's Day Items.

I picked up this basket nest and aqua chick on a glittery base last weekend at one of my favorite shops. Don't you just love his ruffled ribbon collar?

Stitch-Along

I think I am addicted!

I just can't seem to stop stitching. And fortunately for me (and you too if you'd like to join in) Amy over at Inspire Co. has started the 39 Squares Project. 39 one-inch squares, one each day for 39 days. It's kind of like an embroidery version of inchie-art. I love tiny things and who can't fill up a one-inch square in a day? I work on mine in the evening while watching TV.
