Friday Fill-Ins

And here we go...

1. I know I shouldn't have eaten that Snickers sundae, but I did.

2. I'd like to create some art today if at all possible.

3. This weather has been great for working in the garden.

4. Washing windows on a sunny day creates a streaky problem. 

5. I'm really happy I have such good friends.

6. They keep saying "I don't recall" or something to that effect.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to walking and talking with Marianne, tomorrow my plans include cleaning my house and Sunday, I'm going to my daughter's baby shower.

Friday Fill-Ins (on Saturday)

And...here we go!

1. It may be cool but at least the sun is shining.

2. After a while, we will be complaining that it's too hot.

3. I'm thrilled that my daughter found a new job!

4. Cuddling with my grand-dogs is so much fun to me!

5. I always get nervous when I have to weigh-in at Weight Watchers at the beginning of the month..

6. A good cup of java is what keeps me going.

7. And as for the weekend, Saturday my plans include wash windows and go to the antique mall and Sunday, I want to pack away my winter clothes and get out my t-shirts, capris and flip-flops!

Friday Fill-Ins on Saturday

And here we go...

1. I need to...vacuum out my car.

2. Finding a job is what's on my mind most lately.

3. When I talk to my best friend, we laugh a lot!

4. Drinking lots of water is what's working for me lately.

5. I recently saw A robin peering through my window.

6. Blue skies and sunshine fills me with joy!

7. And as for the weekend, today my plans include cleaning the house, doing laundry and having my grand-dogs come for a visit and Sunday, I plan to go for a walk with the dogs and enjoy the beautiful weather!

1. I use very little salt when I cook.

2. "Titanic" is one of my favorite movies.

3. It's supposed to rain a little tomorrow.

4. Spring time is finally here!

5. I said "You are such agood friend to me," and then she said, "That's what friends are for."

6. Deep dish cheese pizza is what I'm craving right now!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to going out to dinner with friends, tomorrow my plans include working on my taxes and Sunday, I want to...hmmm....I haven't quite decided yet, but I'm sure I'll think of something!

1. When we go antiquing, we always find something we can't live without!

2. Sometimes my head hurts.

3. It'll be fun to visit Galena later this summer.

4. Paris is a place I always wanted to visit, but haven't yet.

6. Going on Historical Walking Tours is something I like about my community.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to lounging around with friends, tomorrow my plans include going to the Scotty Dog Parade and Sunday, I want to have brunch!

1. Eggs are best when they are chocolate.

3. When I look in the mirror, I say, "Who the heck is that?".
4. Chicken Marsala and White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake for dessert - these are the things I like for a special dinner!
5. Currently, I am reading "Strengthsfinder 2.0" by Tom Rath.
6. I have no interest in seeing The Hunger Games.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to a quiet evening at home, tomorrow my plans include going to the flea market and Sunday, I want to celebrate Easter!

Friday Fill-Ins {on Saturday}

Here's some more photos of the big snowfall we had here on Thursday night/Friday morning.
The snow was really quite pretty, but oh was it difficult to shovel! The snow was so wet and heavy that the snow plow kept dying. I finally had to just shovel the snow in layers a little at a time.
On yesterday's post I mentioned that the snowflakes were huge. I never seem to be able to get a good shot of falling snow, but I think you can get the idea with this photo.

Okay, now it is time for Friday Fill-Ins, a little late....here we go!

1. I'm feeling lazy.
2. I want to have a Turtle Latte @ Caribou.
3. I need to shovel the rest of the driveway.
4. I was thinking about starting a new art piece.
5. I wish it was Springtime.
6. I'm reading "Worth Fighting For" by Lisa Swayze.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to watching "Who Do You Think You Are," tomorrow my plans include cleaning the house (woo-hoo!) and Sunday, I want to bake some cookies - Yum!

1. Finally, it's starting to get a littler warmer outside.

2. Walking everyday sure takes some getting used to!

4. Hanky Panky is my favorite nick name for Hank, my grand dog.

6. I have too many art supplies, though I wouldn't have it any other way.

Friday Fill-Ins

Starting this week I'm combining two challenges on Fridays. A few weeks ago I began participating in Friday Fill-Ins which has been a lot of fun. Today, I am also joining in on Jeanne Oliver and Kimberly Taylor's brand new photo challenge for February called Finding the Lovely, which you can read about here.

The weather has been so mild here in the midwest that I guess the plants are as puzzled as I am by this winter. This week I noticed the tiniest of green poking through the earth next to my front door. Today there were flower buds showing too. I know that Snow Drops are one of the earliest of bloomers here in Zone 5, but the first week of February seems ridiculously early even for these hardy little guys!

So here we go with my Friday Fill-Ins. . . .

1. When it comes time to make a decision, I have difficulty doing it.

2. Be kind to others - that must be the rule.

3. Ma says, always wear clean underwear.

4. I listen to my iPod at the same time as I walk.

5. I never saw a unicorn.

6. The light bulb is not a new invention.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to eating leftover ravioli, tomorrow my plans include lunch at Panera and Sunday, I want to go to the flea market!

1. When I looked out the window this morning I saw a lot of snow!

(The snow-thrower didn't work, so I had to shovel by it by hand - Ugh!)
